Megan Thee Stallion Has No Plans To Release New Music Anytime Soon, Rapper Says She’s ‘Focused On Healing’
Megan Thee Stallion’s fans will have to wait a little bit longer if they want to hear new music from the Grammy-Award-winning rapper.
It’s no secret that Megan Thee Stallion has had to overcome a lot. From losing her mother, who battled brain cancer, in 2019, to being the victim of a highly-publicized shooting incident, the “Fever” artist has proven time and time again that she’s resilient. As previously reported, following a brief hiatus from the entertainment industry, Megan Thee Stallion started making public appearances again in March. Since then, fans of the music star have wondered when she’ll drop new tunes. Unfortunately for the hotties, it doesn’t look like Megan will be stepping into the booth anytime soon. During her latest interview, the 28-year-old rapper said,
“Fans can expect new music when I’m in a better place,”
She added,
“Right now, I’m focused on healing.”

One way that Megan is working on her healing journey is by setting boundaries within her work life. She shared,
“The music and entertainment industry can be a grind, so it’s important to take time off and avoid burning out,”
Megan continued,
“Life is all about balance.”
Well, it seems that Megan has found something (or rather, someone) to occupy her time amid her break from music! Earlier today (May 30) images surfaced of her attending a wedding overseas with Belgian soccer player Romelu Lukaku, 30. It’s unclear when the two stars became close, but they seemed to have enjoyed each other’s company during their date. It’s also unclear when exactly Megan and fellow rapper Pardison “Pardi” Fontaine, 33, called it quits.

In addition to her love life, Megan’s ongoing legal drama with her estranged record label, 1501 Certified Entertainment, seemingly has her attention as well. You may recall that Megan and label CEO Carl Crawford have been battling it out for a while over the terms of her agreement.
Megan has also accused Carl Crawford of trying to block her from music opportunities and refusing to pay her what she is reportedly owed by the label.
