Misa Hylton Seemingly Blames Diddy For Their Son’s Recent DUI Arrest: ‘I Should Have Kept My Child w/ Me’
Clearly, Misa Hylton, the mother of Diddy’s eldest child, isn’t here for his new “act bad” movement (seemingly) rubbing off on his kids!
If you hadn’t heard, on Sunday (June 4), Diddy and fashion icon Misa Hylton’s son, Justin Combs, was arrested for driving under the influence.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, authorities took 29-year-old Justin Combs into custody after he appeared to have a substance in his system during a traffic stop in the Beverly Hills area.
An official said,
“Officers conducted a traffic stop, and they observed the driver possibly under the influence of unknown alcohol or drugs.”
Although the investigation reported that Justin Combs was, in fact, chemically impaired, it wasn’t revealed what (exactly) prompted him to fail the sobriety test(s). He was booked on the misdemeanor with a bond set for $5,000.
Following the details of his arrest going public, Combs’ mother, Misa Hylton, took to her social media to address the matter and seemingly threw a few shots at her baby’s father, Diddy, in the process.
Amid a series of Instagram Stories, Hylton said:
“I’m not protecting no one anymore. Just my son.”
In another post, she commented,
“The statement ‘a fish rots from the head down’ means that, in addition to being a major contributing factor in a family or organization’s success, leadership is also the root cause of its failure and demise. The truth shall set you free.”
While Hylton didn’t call any names, many were aware that her rant was directed toward Diddy, as she also referenced the term “act bad,” which is the title of the ‘Bad Boy’ mogul’s latest track with the City Girls and Fabolous.
The celebrity stylist mentioned:
“Act BAD. BAD Boy. I used to want to be a BAD Girl. I chose to be a QUEEN. Tried and true. I’m not perfect but I am INTENTIONAL.”
Simultaneously, Hylton let off a round at the University of California, the school that Combs attended and played college football at before graduating in 2016. She added,
“I should have kept my child with me. F*ck UCLA too. Everybody can get it.”
But… that wasn’t all the 50-year-old had in her drafts for Diddy. It seems that she then came for his dealings in the alcohol business.
Hylton expressed:
“How you go from one of the greatest to ever do it to making all your money off alcohol and suing the d*mn alcohol company. Sell something healthy that builds people up. I’m sick of it!!!!! NOT MINES.”
She even brought Diddy’s chief of staff, Kristina Khorram, into the equation, but it’s unclear why. She threatened,
“And Kristina if you ever try to handle me again I will go straight across your head!!!!!! Stay out the way. You are a nice person. Everyone is tough until it’s time to be tough.”
Hylton’s online vent session was later deleted, but she did return with more subliminal quotes about parenting early Monday morning (June 5).
So far, no other words have been given from either party involved. However, Hylton’s friend, legendary model Kimora Lee Simmons, did make a couple of cryptic posts on her Instagram Story as well.
Kimora Lee Simmons asked on her platform,
“Wait… what happened??! Oh sh*t…”
Diddy and Hylton dated during the height of Diddy’s music success in the 1990s. Their son, Justin, was born in 1993.
