Shakira Sparks Dating Rumors w/ British Racing Driver Lewis Hamilton After Recently Turning Down Tom Cruise

It looks like Shakira may have a new love interest after all!

On Saturday (June 3) Shakira, 46, was spotted at the F1 Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona, Spain, where racing driver Lewis Hamilton, 38, was competing. The Colombian superstar was seen paying close attention to the races while watching Hamilton compete.

After the event, the pair went out to dinner with a group of friends, including Daniel Caesar, Fai Khadra and Mustafa, who shared a photo of the group to his Instagram Story.

In the photo, we see Shakira and Lewis Hamilton sitting next to each other with his hand around her waist.

This wasn’t the singer’s first time hanging out with Hamilton. Last month, she was spotted spending time with the British Formula One star and friends during a boat outing in Miami after attending the 2023 Grand Prix.

If the romance rumors are true, this would be Shakira’s first public relationship since her split from ex-boyfriend Gerard Piqué. Shakira made headlines last June when her 11-year relationship with Spanish former professional footballer Gerard Piqué, 36, came to an end. Reportedly, he cheated on her with his now-girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti, 24. The former couple share two sons together: Milan, 9, and Sasha, 7.

Shakira’s rumored relationship with Lewis Hamilton would explain why she had no interest in Tom Cruise. As previously reported, the pair recently met for the first time at the F1 Grand Prix in Miami and insiders claim Tom Cruise, 60, was “giddy” and “absolutely mesmerized” by the mother-of-2. He allegedly pulled out his best moves to impress Shakira and even surprised her with flowers following their interaction.

While it was a kind gesture, Shakira has no interest in the actor.

An insider close to the Colombian entertainer said,

“Shakira had a great time hanging out with Tom at F1 but she has no interest in dating him.”

Another insider added,

“She doesn’t want to embarrass or upset him, but there’s no attraction or romance on her part – she was just being friendly. She’s flattered but not interested.”

From the looks of it, Shakira has her eyes set on Lewis Hamilton.
