Kandi Burruss Faces Backlash For Not Intervening During Co-Host’s Questionable Interaction w/ Rapper Sukihana: ‘That Is Sexual Harassment’
Reality TV star Kandi Burruss is trending on Twitter once again, however, this time it isn’t for a good reason.
Kandi Burruss is known for wearing multiple hats and always getting to the bag. In addition to being a “Real Housewives Of Atlanta” peach holder, she owns multiple businesses, has a successful singing career and recently joined the producing team for the Broadway-bound ‘The Wiz’ revival. Kandi Burruss also has a popular YouTube series called “Kandi Koated Live,” where she and her co-host DJ Aone talk about “sex and relationships,” according to the series description.
Normally the web show is well-received, however, a clip from the segment has resurfaced online that has landed Kandi in the hot seat. In February, Kandi and DJ Aone sat down for a conversation with rapper Sukihana. During the interview, DJ Aone made a few sexually explicit comments towards the “Grinch” artist, such as “I can tell by your walk that p*ssy spit.” He continued,
“I want to smell your p*ssy. I want to put my face in your p*ssy.”
After Kandi (seemingly) laughed off his remarks and said “you are aggressive!”
The media personality replied,
“She loves that sh*t, man.”
However, a seemingly shocked Sukihana offered back,
“No, I don’t…during sex maybe but, you know, not right now.”
It’s unclear why the old interview is currently making its way around the internet again, but it seems social media users aren’t happy about the awkward interaction and many have taken to Twitter to call Kandi out for not intervening. One person said,
“no other woman should go on that show with Kandi until that man is removed as cohost.”

Another continued with,
“Kandi… Suki was clearly uncomfortable but yet not only did you step in and stop the conversation, you laughed at it. Move the left and continue getting whacked.”

A separate Twitter user claimed,
“For kandi to be on the tv crying about rape/date rape allegations, i would’ve thought she would’ve stopped that n*gga for harrassing that girl like that. Tell him to stop or get tf out.”

Others weighed in and said,

Kandi Burruss has yet to address the backlash.
