Ray Lewis, Ray Lewis III’s mother Tatyana McCall, and the family wrote,
“Ray (Ray Ray) Lewis III’s parents and family would like to express our sincerest thanks to all of you for the love, support, and kind deeds you’ve shown us during the loss of our loved one. Your kindness is deeply appreciated. It is our prayer that God surrounds you with grace, mercy, and an overflow of blessings.”

As previously reported, Lewis III’s younger brother, Rahsaan Lewis, took to his IG stories to break the devastating news. In an emotional post, he wrote,
“Really can’t believe I’m even typing this but RIP big brother. A true angel I pray your at peace now because ik how much you was rlly hurtin I don’t and won’t ever have the words man cuz this pain right here.”
He added,
“I love you I love you I love you. Your niece gone miss you but she will hear about u over and over just watch over us all big bruh be our guardian I promise I’ll make you smile and proud.”

Lewis III’s sister, Diaymon Lewis, also shared a touching tribute to her late brother. She wrote,
“Brownie I love you with all of my heart. You will always be my first love and truly are the definition of a quintessential brother. To the most genuine and talented person I know, go get your rest baby and I’m glad you’re at peace. Fly high baby.”
Lewis III was found unresponsive at his home in Florida on June 14. According to reports, narcotics and alcohol were located at the scene. An anti-anxiety pill, a used needle, and a plastic bag near a beer can were also present. He was pronounced dead after being taken to a local hospital.
