Kim Kardashian Becomes Emotional While Reflecting On The Old Kanye West: ‘I’ll Do Anything To Get That Person Back’
Divorce is never easy, even for celebrities.
Reality TV star Kim Kardashian showed as much recently, breaking down in tears while speaking about her strained relationship with her former husband Kanye West.

The emotional outcry surfaced on the internet via a trailer for the coming new episode of Hulu’s “The Kardashians.” In the clip, Kim Kardashian, 42, can be seen crying in the arms of her younger sister Khloe Kardashian, 39. After asking if the SKIMS owner was ok, tears unwillingly welled in Kim’s eyes as she replied:
“[I’m] not OK….I’m having such a hard day today.”
Though she didn’t name any names in the trailer, one report notes the previous “Kardashian” episode left off with the billionaire splitting from ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson. Notably, filming for this episode was also around the time West was circulating headlines for his “antisemitic” statements.
If you recall, the Donda artist faced major industry consequences last year after his controversial interview on “Drink Champs,” where the musician made inflammatory remarks about the death of George Floyd and the Jewish community, garnered much backlash.

Seemingly venting her frustrations to the Good American founder and wiping her eyes, Kim continued in the trailer:
“I just can’t,….It’s so different from the person that I married…That’s who I loved and that’s who I remember. I’ll do anything to get that person back.”
Kim and Kanye split back in 2021 following six years of marriage and officially divorced in March of the following year. The former powerhouse couple shares four children together, North (10), Saint (7), Chicago (5), and Psalm (4), with Kim having primary custody. This isn’t the first time the media mogul has opened up emotionally about what it’s like co-parenting with West. During a previous podcast interview, Kim once again was filled with tears, describing her situation with the Grammy Award winner as “really f***ing hard.”

As we reported more recently, however, it seems the pair have been on better terms than they were at the time the footage from the new trailer was recorded. During a more recent cover profile with Time Magazine, Kim made it clear that her feelings about her ex come second to the care of her children. So much so, that she’s willing to admit that Ye was “‘maybe” right about closely monitoring their daughter’s social media. If you recall the two famously feuded online after West demanded Kim take their daughter off of the TikTok platform.

Discussing the internet’s reaction to her removing North’s viral Ice Spice impersonation video, she stated:
“Then I saw on the internet, [people saying] ‘Kanye was right,’ and maybe he was in that instance…But in the creative side where she loves making slime videos and doing her little hair tutorials, I will fight for her to be creative in those ways.”
Neither Kim nor Kanye has reacted to the new trailer publicly at this time.
