Latto Inks Deal w/Wingstop & Debuts Brand New Flavor For “The Latto Meal”

Wingstop & Latto fans are in for a treat!

The eatery, known for their variety of fried chicken wings announced earlier today that they have teamed up with the “Put In On Da Floor” rapper and will be debuting a brand new wing meal and sauce as part of the collaboration.

Reportedly, the Wingstop franchise is following in the footsteps of other fast food chains such as McDonald’s and Arby’s, partnering with rising musician’s to promote new or adjusted menu items. Latto, real name Alyssa Michelle Stephens, 24, says she’s been “obsessed” with the chicken-chain and is pumped for their collaboration. Previously, the “Big Energy” artist teamed up with the company via sponsorship for her music video “Lottery” ft. LU KALA, released back in February of this year.

Speaking about her newest deal with Wingstop, Latto reportedly stated:

“You can’t beat this flavor don’t play with me!!! I crafted my very own Lemon Herb Remix flavor with Wingstop and it’s 10/10,”

Adding:

“I’ve been obsessed and eating Wingstop for years. To order The Latto Meal just how I do, go with all flats in my signature flavor and all the ranch. It’s so good that you’ll be fighting over the last wing, just like my sister Brook and I do.”

The report notes the wing sauce is an original Lemon Herb recipe crafted by Latto and the franchises culinary director. It reportedly features lemon, aromatic herbs, and savory garlic, and will be part of the musician’s promotion, along with her self titled meal that comes with 21 classic wings, two dips, and one large fry. Latto’s Wingstop partnership follows a trend of fast food chains tapping rappers for collaboration deals.

If you recall back in December of 2020, rap star Travis Scott landed a deal with McDonald’s that reportedly did very well in the market. Reports state the Houston native, born Jacques Berman Webster II, brought in around $20 million for his self titled meal. Broken down, about $5 million reportedly came from the traditional endorsement and $15 million from merchandise sales. More recently, fellow rappers Cardi B and Offset struck a deal with the fast food corporation as well. The married couple appeared in a Super Bowl ad back in February for McDonald’s, announcing their own self titled meal The Cardi B x Offset Meal.

Like many of these collaborations, however, The Latto Meal will only be offered fo a limited time beginning on national chicken wing day July 29th. Customers will also be able to get 5 free Wingstop wings when using the promo-code “freewings”.
