Drake Was ‘Deeply Disappointed’ No Bras Were Thrown On Stage During Montreal Performance: ‘Let Me Know I Still Got It’

Rap star Drake took a moment out of his concert recently to admonish his attendees.

The Canadian musician expressed his “deep disappointment” at a crowd in Montreal after concertgoers apparently failed to throw any bras at him on stage.

Drake, real name Aubrey Graham, 36, was performing at one of his “It’s All A Blur” tour stops when he noticed he hadn’t received any undergarment gifts from fans. An audience member captured the moment the “Rich Flex” artist addressed the problem, telling the crowd:

“I would just like to say before I go onto this next song, this is the first stage where I don’t have no bras, and I’m deeply disappointed,”

Adding:

“If you got a bra, though, just let me know that I still got it ’cause I feel like I might be having a bad show or something. I didn’t see no bras tonight.”

While the superstar was seemingly amused by the situation, he also cautioned fans not to start throwing “shoes and phones and sh*t,” which has been an ongoing problem at concerts as of late.

If you recall last month, pop singer Bebe Rexha had to receive emergency medical attention after someone from the crowd hurled a phone on the stage, hitting her in the face. Reportedly, the 33-year-old subsequently had to get stitches and donned a black eye due to the incident. Rexha was able to get some justice, however, as her attacker, who claimed he threw the device because he “thought it would be funny,” was later charged with assault and aggravated battery.

Rapper Latto nearly found herself in a similar situation recently as well. As we covered earlier this month, the “Put In On Da Floor” artist threatened one concertgoer while performing her hit song at Rolling Loud Germany. From the looks of the video, it seems someone threw something on the stage during her set, which she was quick to address. The 24-year-old warned the individual not to do it again, stating in the midst of her song:

“You want your a** beat? Throw it again. Throw it again. I’ma beat your a**. “

Despite the problem of people throwing things on stage, it seems Drake mostly trusts his fans to do the right thing. In fact, the musician seemingly cares so much for his show attendees that he’s willing to spend an extra $230,000 just to keep the party going. Earlier this month, the Grammy Award winner was reportedly fined nearly a quarter million dollars for performing past curfew in Detroit.

Giving up that kind of money, it’s seemingly safe to say there’s nothing wrong with the rapper expecting nothing more than a few bras to be thrown his way while giving his all on stage.
