50 Cent Jokingly Takes Shot At Nick Cannon Having 12 Kids As He Talks About Unnecessary Expenses: ‘I Don’t Want The Responsibility Of That Many Women’

Entertainment mogul 50 Cent says he would need a massive house if he had as many children as Nick Cannon.

In a new interview with Forbes, 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, discussed his lavish purchases in the past and revealed he regrets his decision to buy his Farmington, Connecticut mansion back in 2003. The rapper-turned-actor bought the extravagant home for $4.1 million thanks to the success of his “Get Rich or Die Tryin'” debut album. The massive house is reportedly 50,000 square feet and features 52 rooms that include; a monumental cathedral atrium, a grotto pool spa, a full night club with a casino, two billiards rooms, a basketball court, a recording studio, and a helipad.

According to reports, 50 Cent spent $72,000 a month for the property. The pricy bill covered his mortgage, property tax, insurance, and utilities. In addition to that, he paid $5,000 for gardening and $9,000 for “security and protection.” Although the large home came with different types of amenities, the 48-year-old businessman noted that buying the home was unnecessary because he could only occupy a small portion of it.

He said,

“…You still gonna sleep on one bed… So if you’re not in that mode where you wanna bring that many people around for you to entertain them, then you’re not good. I was looking around like, ‘Yo, why did I buy this sh*t? Like I’m looking, going, ‘What the f*ck made me buy this sh*t?'”

However, 50 continued and mentioned that fellow entertainer Nick Cannon, 42, and his children would love a home built to hold so many people. During his interview, 50 jokingly shared,

“If I had Nick Cannon’s 12 kids or sh*t like that, you could put them all in a bedroom. Everybody’s here. But I’m not going to have kids like that. I don’t want the responsibility of that many women that you got to deal with emotionally, especially after they don’t feel like your friend anymore. I don’t know what the f*ck is wrong with Nick Cannon.”
