Do you know enough Beyoncé facts to get paid?
According to reports, Mass media company Gannett – which is the United States’ largest newspaper chain with over 200 daily papers – posted a job listing seeking a reporter to cover all things Beyoncé. The company is hiring a Taylor Swift expert as well. The selected new hires will be employed through USA Today and Gannett’s Nashville-based newspaper, The Tennessean. Reportedly, the positions will pay around $45,000 to $106,000 a year, depending on your skill level.
The listing regarding multi-Grammy winner Beyoncé reportedly says Gannett wants,
“a reporter to chronicle the music, fashion, cultural and economic influence of Beyoncé.”
In addition, the listing notes,
“The successful candidate also will tap into stories about the Beyhive, her protective fanbase that propels the image and relevance of the artist.”
Another role of the hire will be to,
“chronicle the next big moments of Beyoncé’s career, from the end of her Renaissance tour and its $1 billion in sales to her next ventures and endeavors.”
Gannett adds,
“The international superstar and icon’s impact is felt across generations. She has been a force in everything from how the country views race to how women think about their partners. We are looking for an energetic and enterprising writer, capable of a text and video-forward approach, who can capture Beyoncé Knowles-Carter’s effect not only on the many industries in which she operates, but also on society.”

It may come as no shock that the largest newspaper chain in the US is seeking someone to cover the ins and outs of Beyoncé. The mother-of-three has been in the spotlight for decades and is currently on her “Renaissance World Tour,” which has set the record for the highest-grossing tour by a woman artist in history. Reportedly, the tour has earned over $461 million, officially taking the coveted spot from the previous record holder Madonna.
