Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend, Kayla Nicole, is learning that Taylor Swift fans do not play about her. 

NFL player Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift reportedly have a budding romance, which has unfortunately caused a little trouble for the professional athlete’s ex Kayla Nicole. As previously reported, Travis Kelce and Kayla Nicole first started dating in 2017 and had an on-again, off-again relationship for five years. After they finally called things off rumors surfaced that they broke up because of Travis’ cheapskate ways.

However, Travis eventually denied the frugal claims last year during an interview on “The Pivot” podcast. Kayla Nicole also stepped in to refute the cheap allegations her ex-boyfriend faced via a post shared online. 

Now, it seems that Travis has moved on and is getting to know singer Taylor Swift. The Kelce-Swift speculation started in late July after the Kansas City Chiefs player publicly expressed interest in meeting Taylor.

Fast-forward to Sunday night (Sept. 24), Travis finally got his wish. The 12-time Grammy-winning singer attended his game against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium and was spotted in the box suite right next to Travis’ mother.

Taylor Swift may have been Travis’ good luck charm as his team defeated The Bears with a 41-10 victory, but she seems to be having the opposite effect on Kayla Nicole. Amid reports of the alleged connection between Travis and Taylor, Swifties have been flooding Kayla Nicole’s Instagram with hate comments. One person sarcastically asked: 

“Girl you okay? How are you doing with @taylorswift being next to Kelcee’s mom?”

Another person stated: 

“All that just to get dropped for Taylor Swift.”

It’s important to note that some have opted to come to Kayla Nicole’s defense. One social media user responded:

“Such vicious, miserable comments trying to pit one woman against the other. What does the color and shape of either of them matter? They both have their own talents- maybe not your particular taste, let people live. Grow up.”

Another person, who claimed to be a Taylor Swift fan, also chimed in to add:

“I am a huge swiftie but you best believe I won’t be putting this beautiful woman down ever.”
