DJ Akademiks Cries While Speaking On Saucy Santana’s Threat Of Physical & Sexual Violence Against Him + Says He Doesn’t Want To Respond Because He’ll Be Labeled A Homophobe & ‘Get Canceled’
Internet personality DJ Akademiks seems to have been shaken up by his most recent online confrontation.
The culture commentator shed tears while discussing threats he received from rapper Saucy Santana, which included both physical and sexual violence.

Things apparently got heated (more than normal) between the two after DJ Akademiks shared some very critical opinions of Saucy Santana’s good friend/fellow rapper Yung Miami. The City Girl’s member recently released an album alongside her rap partner JT titled “Raw,” which Akademiks heavily mocked for having low sales, claiming the group has “fizzled out.”

His comments prompted a response from Saucy Santana, who took issue with the streamer for seemingly always having negative things to say about the Florida-based rap group and allegedly targeting Yung Miami. In his initial response, the “One Margarita” artist claimed he was done talking online and urged Akademiks to meet him “in the streets.” After the media personality responded, referring to Santana as a “c**k sucker” and vowing to “spit in his face,” the rapper rebutted:
“After I beat you imma f**k you in yo a** cause you a b***h a** n***a,”

Akademiks became very emotional while addressing the situation once more in a subsequent live stream. Welling up with tears, the media personality explained:
“When I see a n***a like Saucy Santana, it’s rubbing on the mere fabric of what I really grew up on…it brings me back to a hateful part of my life that I really try to get past.”

And continued:
“I’m never tryna get canceled [for] saying the wrong thing…But this s**t does bother me…I don’t care what rapper got at me…But really, there’s certain s**t I really don’t f**k with in my life that I will never do…I hate certain s**t to the soul of me. I’m only pretending because if I say what I want to say, I will never be here for y’all. But I don’t want to be that person.”

Once clips of Akademiks’ reaction to Santana’s threat began circulating online, social media users tapped in with their thoughts. Many seem to believe that the podcaster’s tears were only brought on because he can’t use homophobic slurs to insult the rap star without repercussions to his career.
Others condemned Santana’s remark, slamming him for essentially threatening to sexually assault someone. Meanwhile, a few seemingly unserious commenters opted to simply place their bet on who they think would actually win in a fight.
