Keke Palmer’s Mom Accuses Darius Jackson Of ‘Illegally’ Recording Their Conversation & Says She Threatened Him Because She ‘Feared’ For Her Daughter’s Life
Keke Palmer’s mom said what she said and she isn’t sorry about it!
Yesterday (Nov. 13), Insiders close to Darius Jackson stepped forward to defend the former fitness instructor amid the backlash he’s been receiving for allegedly abusing the mother of his child, actress Keke Palmer. As part of their defense, they shared an audio recording of Keke Palmer’s mother — Sharon Palmer — threatening to put a bullet in Darius Jackson’s head. The audio clip was short and, according to Sharon Palmer, it didn’t tell the true story.
In statements shared with RadarOnline, Sharon Palmer revealed what prompted her to verbally stand up for the “Hustlers” star. Sharon said that the threat was made after Darius Jackson reportedly arrived at Keke’s home uninvited on November 5 and “would not leave.”
She continued,
“I feared for her life.”
Sharon also shot down Darius’ version of what occurred that day and claimed their entire phone call conversation wasn’t shared, but, in the full audio clip,
“You will hear him being told to leave several times…The point where I am cussing came in after 2 mins of him refusing to leave.”
While elaborating on the situation, Sharon noted that Darius recorded her “illegally” as well, highlighting that “California is a consent state,” however, her daughter’s ex “does not care about the law” and “most abuser (sic) don’t care about the law.”
Reportedly, Keke’s security cameras captured Darius physically harming her during the November 5 incident. The entertainer submitted that footage and other (alleged) moments of abuse from her ex to the court. Screenshots of the evidence have since leaked online. Sharon touched on the still images and said,
“The stills of Darius Jackson attacking my daughter speak for themselves. No other comments are necessary.”
As previously reported, Keke was recently granted a temporary restraining order against Darius and given sole physical and legal custody of their infant son Leo. Darius was also ordered to turn over his handgun.
A hearing has been set for December 5 to determine if the restraining order will remain in place.
