Latto Explains Why She Decided To Hire Personal Trainer After Getting BBL & Lipo Instead Of Having Another Round Of Surgery: ‘You’ve Got To Maintain It’

Rap star Latto is getting candid about how she keeps her body looking snatched after going under the knife.

In a recent interview, the musician shared that she once considered getting continuous surgeries to preserve her hourglass figure, but opted for a personal trainer instead.

Latto, real name Alyssa Michelle Stephens, reportedly stated during the interview:

“I got a BBL in 2020. I also got 360 lipo. That’s on my stomach, back, sides, and whole torso…But then you’ve got to maintain it. So I just hired a trainer.”

She continued:

“I tweeted the other day that I was almost going to get a round two of surgery and then I was like, let me just get a trainer instead.”

The “Energy” artist went on to state that although working out has been a part of her regiment before and after the surgery, she fell into a pattern of “leaving early” and not pushing herself as hard since she’d already achieved the shape she wanted. If you recall, Latto openly spoke about her decision to get a BBL, to enhance the shape of her butt, and lipo, to give her torso a tighter appearance, earlier this year.

In a conversation with her younger sister Brooklyn, the Grammy-nominated artist admitted that the music industry’s beauty standards greatly influenced her decision to enhance her body. However, the 24-year-old encouraged her sibling and other women to embrace their natural beauty, arguing that there will always be something to fix.

For Latto, it seems that at the end of the day, the way her body looks and her constantly showing it off ultimately gives her a boost of confidence. Elsewhere in the interview, she explained why she feels this is the best time to flex her curvy figure, adding:

“I’m young right now. I don’t have real responsibilities as far as kids and a husband. I feel like it’s the right time to embrace how my body looks — and before I have kids and wrinkle up, I’m showing it off while I can, boo,
