Pretty Vee Seemingly Denies Shading Rick Ross & His New Boo Cristina Mackey In Online Skit: ‘I Don’t Respond To All Of That, I Just Do Comedy’

Pretty Vee is too booked and busy to worry about “The Boss” these days.

According to comedienne Pretty Vee, she’s unbothered by her ex-fling’s — rapper Rick Ross — recent pop-out with his new lady, Cristina Mackey.

As previously reported, earlier this month, Rick Ross and girlfriend Cristina Mackey made their relationship “Instagram official,” which prompted an influx of questions about his former “bae,” Pretty Vee, throughout social media.

Users flooded 27-year-old Cristina Mackey’s comments after she uploaded a photo of her and Rick Ross outside of a private jet, encouraging the public to “use” their power-couple aesthetic as “motivation.”

Although many automatically deemed Mackey a “gold-digger,” others were left stunned because Ross and Vee were (allegedly) an item not long ago.

Following the matter, on Sunday (Dec. 17), Vee took to her Instagram to share a skit that viewers assumed was an indirect response to Ross and Mackey’s reveal. In the comedic reel, the Florida native sits on the step of a movie trailer as she eats Wingstop and tosses food on the ground.

Along with B2K’s “Why’d You Leave Me On Christmas” playing in the background, the verbiage underneath the video read,

“MOOD: Single For The Holidays

– I Hate Wings (LP) Na

– I’m Getting Off Work Early!

– I’m HURT

– UNBLOCK ME

Who Single For The Holidays”

Immediately, fans pointed out the significant fact that Ross is a franchiser of the popular restaurant chain, leading people to believe that Vee’s post was a dig at the rap mogul moving on.

But… Vee wasted no time clearing the air. In (what appeared to be) a recent broadcast, she (subliminally) made it known that her skit had nothing to do with her old flame.

She jokingly began,

“Someone said, ‘Praying for your heartbreak.’ [laughs]”

Vee continued:

“We good, baby. We just… I don’t respond to all of that, I just do comedy.”

Referring to Wingstop, she added further in the live,

“I don’t like them wings no more. Y’all go comment [on the video]. I don’t like them LP wings.”

Vee then concluded:

“It’s funny, and it’s comedy. I’m not throwing shots at nobody. I ain’t throwing shots at nobody.”

If you didn’t know, suspicions of a romance between the ‘Wild ‘N Out’ star and Ross heightened in 2021, when Vee was seen cozied up alongside the now-47-year-old as they sported Versace robes.

The images also captured a promotional plug for the luxury wine brand Luc Belaire. While the ‘Too Good to Be True’ rhymer has been in partnership with the alcoholic beverage company for quite some time now, Vee began serving as a global ambassador for them in 2020.

However, speculation about the pair’s connection (possibly) being more than a friendly collaboration progressed as Vee and Ross were subsequently spotted together in 2022.

Both skated around addressing the rumor for a while, but things steamed up after it appeared that Vee confirmed that she and Ross were a thing in a viral clip.

Additionally, she briefly spoke about their situation in a couple of interviews. During a past appearance on fellow comedienne B. Simone and co-host Megan Ashley’s podcast, Vee hinted when mentioning celebrity crushes,

“Y’all know who my crush is! Don’t play with me. Y’all know.”

She was then asked why she hadn’t “gone for it” with Ross to which she replied:

“Girl, we going to it. We single but we dating. I’m single but I’m dating.”

As of now, no statements have been said from Mackey or Ross regarding Vee’s skit.
