Update: Rasheeda Says She Already Apologized To K. Michelle For Claiming Singer Was Never Abused By Music Producer Memphitz: ‘I Do Want Ya’ll To Understand That Did Happen’

Update: (Dec. 27, 2023): Rasheeda has cleared the air on where she stands with her former “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” co-star K. Michelle.

Yesterday (Dec. 26), Rasheeda said during a live stream that she’s “not apologizing” for previous remarks she made doubting the abuse K. Michelle experienced while dating music producer Memphitz, real name Mickey Wright. However, after facing backlash for her seemingly harsh comments, Rasheeda hopped back online and clarified that she’d already issued an apology to K. Michelle during their time on reality TV together, and she’s just ready to move on.

The Georgia native said,

“I apologized to [K. Michelle] and wished her the best, we wished each other well. … I do want ya’ll to understand that did happen.”

She continued,

“After that — and we said, you know, that everything was cool, we apologized, and everybody wished each other the best — I left it there.”

According to Rasheeda, even though other things have been said over the years, she decided not to comment on anything because she left the situation in the past.

She added,

“Not being supportive of women who have been through domestic violence or anything like that, that is not who I am, at all.”

Original Story: (Dec. 26, 2023): Looks like one celebrity beef will be making its way into the New Year.

During a recent live stream, rapper-turned-reality-TV-star Rasheeda, 47, made it very clear that she has no intentions of giving her former co-star K. Michelle, 41, an apology any time soon. For those who may be unaware, the friendship between the ladies came to a screeching halt during the first season of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” when the “Marry Me” artist attempted to poke holes in K. Michelle’s claims that her ex, music producer Memphitz, real name Mickey Wright, was physically abusive throughout their relationship. At the time, Rasheeda told K. Michelle that maybe Memphitz hadn’t issued an apology for his actions because,

“That’s not something that he did to you.”

She later doubled down on her feelings at the reunion and added,

“I had to put two and two together and say ‘Huh, something don’t make no d*mn sense.’”

Fast forward years later, and it seems that despite Memphitz losing his defamation lawsuit against K. Michelle in 2015, not much has changed for Rasheeda. Her live-stream was reportedly flooded with comments of people telling her to issue an apology to K. Michelle. The urging from fans may have been prompted by fellow rapper/ “Love & Hip Hop” star Sukihana, 32, who tweeted on Christmas Eve,

“Since everybody scared to say it I think it’s bout time Rasheeda apologize to @kmichelle”

While addressing the comments, Rasheeda said,

“Please come up off my live with the bullsh*t. …I’m not apologizing, I’m not doing none of that.”

Her husband, businessman Kirk Frost, 54, soon came into the frame and claimed Rasheeda already issued an apology years ago. He said,

“If you tell a dumb n*gg* to go back and look at the f*cking reunion when you did apologize they’ll shut the f*ck up.”

He added,

“Go look and shut up!”
