Vivica A. Fox Says Taraji’s Hollywood Experience Is Not Her Story: ‘I’m Good’

Vivica A. Fox doesn’t want any part in the Hollywood drama.

Actress Vivica A. Fox has entered the chat on how black women are treated in Hollywood, but it is seemingly not in favor of her former co-star Taraji P. Henson. TMZ recently caught up with the Set It Off star in New York to get her thoughts on the subject. When asked if now was the perfect time to address the allegations of mistreatment towards women of color in the entertainment industry, Vivica A. Fox replied,

“You know, darling, to each his own. Do you know what I mean? I am very happy, very blessed. To each his own, I didn’t have that experience.”

She continued,

“To get your peace out is important. I totally understand that. I love my girls for looking out for each other, but I’m good.”

As recently reportedTaraji P. Henson broke down while speaking about unfair wages as a black female actress and how those wages equate to very little after expenses. While on a press tour for her role in The Color Purple remake, starring alongside Fantasia Barrino Taylor and Danielle Brooks, Taraji P. Henson confessed that she has considered leaving Hollywood, stating,

“I’m just tired of working so hard, being gracious at what I do, getting paid a fraction of the cost. I’m tired of hearing my sisters say the same thing over and over. You get tired,”

Though Vivica’s response to Taraji’s experience may seem surprising, Vivica made it clear that she supported her former Empire co-star but could not jump on the bandwagon because she doesn’t share Taraji’s sentiments.

Taraji hasn’t elaborated or responded.
