It appears Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner-Smith aren’t wasting time making their separation legally official.

According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline, Joshua Jackson and his estranged wife Jodie Turner-Smith have exchanged all required financial paperwork with one another as part of their divorce settlement. In order to move forward with the split proceedings, the entertainers had to hand over documents listing their income and expenses, along with notifying the court of the matter.

They also were required to turn in a list of their assets and debts, which reportedly included,

“a list of items they believe to be community property and items they believe to be separate property.”

As previously covered, “Queen & Slim” star Jodie Turner-Smith, 37, filed paperwork to divorce Joshua Jackson, 45, last October. Reportedly, the pair signed a prenup before they married in December 2019.

In Jodie’s filing, the model/actress listed the date of separation as September 13 and cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the breakup. However, the “Dawson’s Creek” actor said the actual date of separation was September 30. Despite this, both celebs agreed to share joint custody of their daughter with neither party requesting spousal support.

As you may already know, newly single Joshua has been spotted out and about with fellow actress Lupita Nyong’o, 40, over the past few months. Rumors began circulating that the two quickly became more than friends amid Joshua’s ongoing divorce. Around that same time, Lupita Nyong’o announced she ended her relationship with her then-boyfriend, TV personality Selema Masekela.

Initially, Lupita Nyong’o and Joshua were spotted in October at a concert outing along with a group of their friends. However, reports claim there wasn’t anything romantic going down between them throughout the night of the concert.

Last month, Lupita and Joshua were also spotted by paparazzi (seemingly) on a grocery store run together. Following the images hitting the internet, the new couple appeared to confirm they’re dating by publicly walking together while holding hands in Joshua Tree, California.
