Bobbi Althoff Says ‘Sorry To Disappoint’ As She Confirms Viral Online Video Depicting Her Masturbating Is AI-Generated: ‘Not Me’
Podcaster Bobbi Althoff is addressing the circulation of a deepfake video of her that recently went viral on the internet.
Bobbi Althoff has made headlines again, and this time, it isn’t for the best reason. A video seemingly showing the media personality in a sexual scenario circulated online earlier this week. The explicit clip appears to superimpose Bobbi Althoff’s face onto a woman masturbating while in bed.

Despite the video being fake to anyone with discernment, there was still an alarming amount of people who reportedly believed what they saw was real. However, Bobbi Althoff has vehemently shut down all speculation that she could be the leading lady in the graphic clip.
On Wednesday (Feb. 21), Althoff shared a screenshot to her IG Story showing that she’s been trending on X. She wrote under the picture,
“Hate to disappoint you all, but the reason I’m trending is 100% not me and is definitely AI-generated.”

Althoff also posted a video to her IG Story making additional remarks about the viral video. She stated,
“Guys, funny story. Yesterday I went on X (Twitter), and I saw that I was trending. And I was like, ‘Oh my God! That’s a first. I’m trending on Twitter. You guys must really love my podcast. Wow.’ So I clicked it and I was like, ‘What the f_ is this?!’ And I ended up really like- I felt like it was a mistake or something. Like it was like bots or something.”
She continued,
“I didn’t realize that it was actually people believing that that was me until my whole team called me and were like, ‘Is this real?’ So you guys. You guys. Anyway, not me. Sorry to disappoint. But what the f_! No. That was so graphic, too. I was like, ‘Oh my God! Need to cover my eyes.’”

Althoff is the latest celebrity to be targeted by AI-generated pornography.
Back in January, sexually explicit fake images of Taylor Swift started spreading like wildfire on X.
The social media platform was forced to quickly implement safety measures, pausing users’ ability to search for Taylor Swift on the app as they worked on a solution. Once the issue was resolved, searches for the singer’s name on the site returned to normal
