Travis Scott fans may not have to wait long for him to drop new music.

The rapper mentioned new music on his Instagram on Tuesday (Feb. 20).

In one story, he wrote,

“I love music so f*cking much.”

In another story, Travis Scott continued,

“And for the record. We will backkkkkk. I gotta kick a new gear since they think it’s play time.”

The tease of new music comes after the Houston-born rapper dropped his long-awaited album in July 2023, ‘Utopia,’ after a five-year hiatus. ‘Utopia’ was Travis Scott’s first album since the Astroworld tragedy in November 2021.

According to multiple reports, 10 people died, including a child, when a crowd surge of about 50,000 people pushed toward the stage at Scott’s Astroworld festival in 2021. They all died as a result of compression asphyxia. Nearly 2,400 people were injured in the incident.

In June 2023, a grand jury declined to file charges against the rap superstar. Scott’s lawyer, Kent Schaffer, confirmed why a grand jury decided not to indict his client on criminal charges from the concert.

Kent Schaffer said,

“He never encouraged people to do anything that resulted in other people being hurt.”

Kent Schaffer added the decision was “a great relief.”

Meanwhile, one of Scott’s most popular albums is “ASTROWORLD.” It was a Grammy contender when it was released in 2018 and spawned several viral hits, such as “SICKO-MODE,” “BUTTERFLY EFFECT,” and “5% TINT.”
