Rocsi Reveals That Her & Terrence J’s Infamous ‘106 & Park’ On-Air Spat Was ‘Fake’ Because They Needed A Vacation

Rocsi Diaz is revealing the true story of the time when she walked off the set of BET’s 106 & Park during a live taping.

In a Breakfast Club interview on Friday (February 23), TV personality Rocsi Diaz was asked about a past incident involving her and her former 106 & Park co-host Terrence J.

New Breakfast Club co-host Jess Hilarious did not hesitate to inquire about the episode that aired in 2008. She asked,

“You walked off the set during a live taping. What happened? Was it anything with you and Terrence?”

Rocsi Diaz responded,

“Terrence and I have said so many times that was fake. It was planned.”

She added,

“Terrence and I were on that show, nobody realized this, for 3 or 4 years straight with no vacation. And we never took a day off. And so it came to that time. It was like, ‘Okay, can we take a week? Can we go live our life, you know?”

The TV personality continued,

“And the mastermind at hand who came up with that idea was like, ‘Well, one just can’t be gone on vacation and the other one… We gotta create a scandal!”

After Diaz disclosed the details behind the incident, Charlamagne Tha God was visibly surprised and shared that he was not aware of the story.

Others in the comments below the Instagram video post expressed similar sentiments, with some even indicating that they didn’t believe the story.

One IG user said,

“I’ve never in my life heard them say this was fake”

Another person chimed in saying,

“She was defensive off top. Who even believes this?”

As she concluded her remarks on the incident, Diaz made it quite clear that the whole thing was nothing more than an act saying,

“It was literally some of the best acting we’ve ever done.”
