Terrence J Says Beyonce Made Around $45 Million For Her Dubai Performance!

As far as Terrence J knows Beyonce made more than $24 million for her performance in Dubai last weekend.

Before the interview ended, Terrence J was asked to illustrate the details of Beyonce’s spectacular performance in Dubai on Saturday (Jan. 21). The hosts also recalled cameras spotting Terrence J walking actress Nia Long to a purple McLaren headed to see Queen B take the stage.

The actor didn’t find the joke funny possibly being that he went with his model girlfriend Mikalah Sultan to Dubai.

Terrence, 40, disclaimed:

“I did not go there with Nia Long. At all. Stop.”

Terrence continued:

“A bunch of celebrities went out there, right? Nia Long is a friend, a bunch of friends were all out there, we’re hanging out. Incredible performance. This is the biggest launch in the world. They launched this hotel, the Royal Atlantis. Nobel launched it, a new restaurant.”

LaLa agreed when Terrence said:

“Beyonce looked amazing. She looked impeccable. Voice, obviously. Blue Ivy came out. All the vibes were there. A very theatrical performance. So this wasn’t ‘Single Ladies’ dancing type Beyonce. This was ‘Halo’ Beyonce. Very classy. The outfits and the wardrobes was masterful. She came out, she went on this little platform and had the wind and the water hitting her. It was amazing.”

The Queens, New York native continued:

“She went through a lot of her catalog but not as many of the upbeat, more of the emotional. People were tearing up in the audience. Very emotional Beyonce performance.”

As previously reported, Beyonce returned from a four-year+ performing hiatus for the unofficial opening of the upscale Dubai hotel. Despite the performance being well received by many, the superstar songstress faced criticism from some for performing amid the anti-LGBTQ policies of the United Arab Emirates. Reportedly, in the Middle Eastern country a person who identifies as LGBTQ+ can face legal troubles for their sexual orientation.

Atlanta rapper T.I., who also appeared as a guest on the show, chimed in:

“I only had one question when I seen it. Why not $25 million?”

As the guests in the room laughed in agreeance then Terrence elaborated:

“The number was reflective of not just the payment to her but it was a whole production around it.”

“The Breakfast Club” host DJ Envy, 45, and T.I. discussed their beliefs on how the compensation played out when Terrence admitted:

“I don’t even think that was the number. I think the number was actually more. I think like the bigger number was more around $45 million. It’s the biggest launch. They wanted to outdo the original Atlantis launch which was the biggest one at the time.”

T.I., born Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., added:

“That’s somebody you can honestly say man she deserved that. She work her *ss off. All throughout the years man, and when you see Beyonce you gon’ get a show.”

LaLa, 43, said:

“It’s worth every penny.”

T.I., 42, continued:

“It’s certain people we just happy to see those type of numbers go to.”

“The Breakfast Club” host Charlamagne tha God said:

“You expect it. When somebody else be like ‘man why I can’t get $24 million?’ ‘Cause you not Beyonce. It’s just that simple.”

Terrence, born Terrence Jenkins, then went on to give a message on the importance of celebrating our queens giving examples of acting icons Niecy Nash, Meagan Good, Gabrielle Union, and Nia Longwho made headlines last September after her beau Ime Udoka was suspended for having a consensual intimate relationship with a woman on the work staff.

As previously reported, Ime Udoka, former Boston Celtics’ coach, was suspended for a year as the franchises head coach for violating the organization’s policies. Prior to the incident, Nia Long dated Udoka for 12 years and they share an 11-year-old son together, Kez.
