Robyn Dixon Confirms She’s Not Returning To ‘Real Housewives Of Potomac’ After Season 8: ‘I Was Fired’
Update (April 15, 2024): Robyn Dixon has confirmed she is not returning to RHOP, about two weeks after theJasmineBRAND exclusively reported the news.
She said on Monday’s (April 15) episode of her Reasonably Shady podcast,
“Yes, I will not be returning for season 9 of The Real Housewives of Potomac. It’s reality. The network did not invite me back. I was fired, for lack of better words. I will not sugar-coat the situation the situation and say, ‘Ooh I am walking away and this is a break’ or anything like this. This is a network decision.”
She continued,
“I’m okay with it because nothing lasts forever. I’ve had a very long run on the show, and I just really appreciate that time and the opportunity that I had on the show. Thank you to the fans who have watched us from day 1. I do want to especially thank all of the fans and viewers who have supported me, showed loved to me. Whether you directly sent me love or you prayed for me or you have positive thoughts around me, I appreciate you. And I hope I inspired you the viewers, the fans, to live your life authentically. To not feel pressure to change for anyone, or impress people, and just to be yourself.”
Original Story (March 25, 2024): theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports that Robyn Dixon is allegedly leaving Real Housewives of Potomac. The reality star, who joined the Bravo series in its debut season back in 2016, may still make appearances on the show in the future, we have learned.
She may return for future seasons.
The news comes as Candiace Dillard Bassett has announced her exit after six seasons.
Robyn Dixon has been a staple on the show since its inception. Over the years, fans saw her and her then-ex-husband Juan Dixon rekindle their romance and navigate tough losses and financial downfalls.
The two, who share sons Carter and Corey, remarried in August 2022. However, their relationship has served as a storyline for the current eighth season as the pair presented a united front to fight off allegations that Juan Dixon cheated.
Throughout Robyn Dixon’s time on the show, fans also saw her tap into her entrepreneurial side. She launched a successful hat line Embellished, and co-founded the skincare line GLO RX. In the current season, she worked on opening up her own franchise for GLO30, a subscription-based skincare studio, in Maryland.
