Kenya Moore Comfirms Return To ‘RHOA’ For Season 16: ‘I’m Not Going Anywhere!’

Update (April 12, 2024 12:50pm ET): Kenya Moore is here to stay. She confirmed her return to RHOA for season 16 with a true Kenya-esque video on Instagram.

Original Story (April 12, 2024 8:30am ET): Although The Real Housewives of Atlanta has seen quite a shakeup ahead of its 16th season, Kenya Moore will reportedly remain a staple on the show.

The reality star, who first joined the series in season 5, will return for season 16, according to Love B. Scott. 

News of Kenya Moore’s return comes after former RHOA star Porsha Williams, who also joined in season 5, revealed she is coming back to the show after her departure ahead of season 14.

It’s safe to say her storyline will cover her tumultuous divorce from Nigerian businessman Simon Guobadia. However, he has sent a cease-and-desist to RHOA producers to stop them from filming in his and Porsha Williams’ Atlanta home.

Though the Porsha and Kenya duo will be in full effect, a handful of stars have also announced their exit from the popular Bravo show.

Kandi Burruss, who joined in season 2, making her the longest-running Housewife in the entire franchise, revealed she’s leaving the show while at the Grammy Awards in February. Later that month, she spoke about a possible return and said,

“I have a lot of love for my Bravo family, so there are other things I will be a part of going forward. I mean, I don’t want to say never. Never say never, right? But right now, I just have a lot of things I’m going after. I don’t see it in my future.”

Also not returning is Marlo Hampton, who said she was leaving to focus on other ventures.

“Hamptons, My contract with Real Housewives of Atlanta ended when season 15 wrapped. This break from RHOA is a fresh start, allowing me the space to participate in new creative entertainment projects in my future, and not reliving my past.”

Andy Cohen casually announced Sanya Richards-Ross’s departure after two seasons. During a recent episode of his SiriusXM show, he asked guest Mariah Smith, 

“How do you feel about Kandi, Sanya, and Marlo leaving the show?”
