Damian Lillard’s Wife Comically Calls GloRilla Her ‘Sister Wife’ While Joking About The Rapper’s Recent DUI Arrest

Their man, their man, their man?

As previously reported, on Tuesday (Apr. 16), rapper GloRilla was arrested in Suwanee, Georgia.

Cops took GloRilla into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence, consuming/possessing an open alcoholic beverage, and a traffic violation.

According to authorities, GloRilla’s charges ensued after she made an abrupt U-turn at a red light. Upon pulling her over, the officer noticed a “bloodshot” look in the 24-year-old’s eyes, along with the smell of liquor and marijuana oozing from her breath and the vehicle.

She was later released on a $1,956 bond. Surprisingly, following GloRilla’s brief lockup, Kay’La Lillard (the estranged wife of her basketball crush, Damian Lillard) didn’t waste any time yelling, “Free Glo!”

Sharing The Shade Room’s post about the “Yeah Glo!” lyricist’s run-in with the law to her Instagram Story, she captioned with the laugh and shrug emojis attached,

“Free GloLillard #sisterwife.”

At this time, no word on whether GloRilla appreciates her “sister wife’s” support.

If you didn’t know, Kay’La Lillard’s comment comes after the Memphis native previously shot her shot with Damian Lillard in February.

After meeting the Milwaukee Bucks player during the NBA All-Star Game in Indianapolis, GloRilla took to social media to express her interest in him.

Uploading a photo with Damian Lillard, she wrote on X (formerly Twitter):

“Who n*gga dis is ? Cause I want him #GetEmGlo.”

When asked about the female rhymer’s public advance, Damian brushed off the interviewer’s question by citing,

“No comment.”

GloRilla also touched on the matter while visiting ‘Club Shay Shay’ last month but refused to reveal if they had been chatting behind the scenes since her flirtatious statement.

Although still legally married, Damian filed for divorce from Kay’La last October. The rocky couple initially tied the knot in 2021. Together, they share three children.
