Kansas City Chiefs Player Travis Kelce Becomes Highest Paid Tight End In NFL
Taylor Swift might be taking her man out to celebrate tonight!
According to new reports, the Kansas City Chiefs star is suspected to be the highest-paid tight end in the NFL thanks to his new contract. On Monday (Apr. 29) Travis Kelce, 34, agreed to a two-year extension with the 4x Super Bowl championship-winning team.
Of course, the official numbers of the deal have not been made public by either party. However, it’s reported to be worth roughly $17.125 million per year ($34.25 million in total), putting Travis Kelce at the top of the list for what tight ends are paid.

Before signing on the dotted line of his new contract, Travis Kelce ranked fourth in the league with a reported annual contract value of $14.3 million. For the 2023 season, newly single Darren Waller was listed as the highest-paid tight end in the NFL. As we recently reported, last week the New York Giants player and WNBA star Kelsey Plum filed for divorce. Despite the former love birds jointly filing to end their marriage, Kelsey Plum shared a cryptic message about the break up across her socials, writing,
“I’m devastated. I walked through fire for that man, but now I see it’s time to go. ”
She added,
“One day I’ll share my story, today is not that day.”

At the time of this report, Darren Waller has yet to weigh in on his highest-paid title being passed to Kelce. However, others have shared their opinions on the exciting news!
