‘Boy Meets World’s Trina McGee Shares How She Reversed Early Menopause To Get Pregnant At 54
Actress Trina McGee is opening up about her pregnancy journey.
Earlier this week the Boy Meets World star revealed she was expecting her fourth child at 54. In a text post shared via Instagram, she wrote,
“At the tender age of 54 I have found myself pregnant. Please bless us with your prayers for a safe delivery. Thank you.”

Trina McGee shares two of her adult children with her ex-husband, Courtland Davis, and her third is from a previous relationship. She’s been married to her husband Marcello Thedford for 16 years, and baby number four will be their first child together. Marcello Thedford also has a child from a past relationship. During a recent interview, Trina McGee candidly spoke about taking a more holistic approach to her fertility process and how it helped her reverse early menopause. She said,
“I have been saying I wanted to have a baby with my current husband of 16 years for quite a while.”
McGee said they “tried” at one point to conceive without any kind of intervention and also considered IVF. However, the couple ultimately decided to seek out help in Belize where Thedford has a “cultural background.”

McGee and her hubby worked closely with the Garifuna people on natural remedies that helped her reverse menopause, making it possible for her to become pregnant. She noted that she’s not a medical doctor but what she did, paired with her healthy lifestyle and low-stress environment, played a huge hand in her being able to have a child with her husband.
Congratulations again to Trina McGee and Marcello Thedford!
