Chris Brown Appears Upset After Technical Glitch Leaves Him Hanging From Rope During Concert

Chris Brown experienced an unexpected twist during his performance in Newark, New Jersey on Tuesday night, June 11th, when he got stuck suspended in the air mid-song due to a malfunction with his wires.

In a video that is now going viral online, the Grammy-winning R&B star was suspended above the stage at the Prudential Center during his performance of Under the Influence when his wires suddenly malfunctioned. Despite the mishap, Chris Brown, 35,  continued singing, and the crowd appeared initially unaware of the situation.

Displaying signs of frustration, Chris Brown signaled to stagehands for assistance. He persevered with his performance, singing through the ordeal.

After finally descending with the help of production assistants, Chris Brown continued to pace the stage passionately, finishing his set. The crowd joined in with relief, belting out the song as Brown signaled for their participation. Despite the technical glitch, Brown maintained his composure and even joked about the incident later in the two-hour concert.

Social media users joined in on the moment, joking about the on-stage hiccup.

One X user mentioned Brown’s vocals, stating,

“The ad libs getting more and more aggressive is taking me out.”

Another X user humorously remarked,

“No song required all that anyway”
