Angela Stanton-King posted the photo on Instagram, with a caption stating,

“Hey @tamarbraxton remember when you told my child he didn’t need me?! Well last night I told your man that he didn’t need you. Of course he agreed.”

After the photo went viral and was reposted by several media outlets, JR promptly took to a blog to address the situation and clarified,

“This is all cap. I sponsored an event with @joclive for Men’s Appreciation. I took pictures with plenty of people. No clue who this person is and never spoke to her. People do anything for some clicks.”

Angela also took the time to clarify the situation, emphasizing that she never mentioned any romantic involvement with JR.

She explained,

“I see that I’ve gone viral. I’m all over the place in regards to JR. Yes, I did see JR at an event last night for Yung Joc. He did speak, he actually had several things to say. In fact, there were several women he refused to take a picture with, but he was more than willing to take a picture with me.”

She continued,

“The caption simply says what it says. It does not say that he and I are seeing each other or that we’re in any type of relationship. For those of you all that don’t know… my preference is and has always been dark chocolate.”
