Kendrick Lamar Takes Over Juneteenth w/ Pop Out Concert, Performs ‘Euphoria’ For the 1st Time & ‘Not Like Us’ 5 Times + Brings Out Stars like Dr. Dre, YG & ScHoolboy Q

Kendrick Lamar took Juneteenth to another level!

The 17-time Grammy winner performed at his appropriately labeled show The Pop Out Ken & Friends at Kia Forum in Los Angeles yesterday (Wednesday, June 19).

The three-hour concert, which aired on Amazon Prime Video, featured performances from Tyler, The Creator, Steve Lacy and YG.

As for Kendrick Lamar’s set, he performed “DNA,” “Alright,” “Swimming Pools,” and “Humble.” He also reunited with rap supergroup Black Hippy members  ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock and Ab-Soul, who joined him on stage for an unexpected moment. Dr. Dre made an appearance and briefly performed before introducing “Not Like Us” by whispering the first moment of the song,”I see dead people.”

But first, Kendrick Lamar kicked things off with “Euphoria,” one of his most popular disses against Drake in their recent rap battle. He inserted a new lyric and told Drake,

Give me Tupac’s ring back and I might give you a little respect.”

Throughout his show, he rapped other disses as the audience sang along to nearly every word, including “6:16 in LA,” and “Like That.”

As for his historic “Not Like Us” diss, he performed it five times. See the full set list below per Complex.

“Not Like Us” proved to be a standout moment from the show, as infamous lyrics like “OVHOE” and “Not Like Us” trended on X (formerly Twitter) well into Thursday morning (June 20). J. Cole and Drake also trended on the social media platform.

During his “Not Like Us” performance, Kendrick was joined by the song’s producer DJ Mustard, as well as YG and Russell Westbrook on stage.

Stars like Rick Ross, who had his own feud with Drake, and LeBron James were also spotted in the audience, as well as Kendrick’s fiancé Whitney Alford and their two children. The show brought together bloods and crips gang members too.
