50 Cent Says Hackers Accessed His X (Twitter) Account & Made $3 Million In 30 Minutes w/ Cryptocurrency Scam
Media mogul 50 Cent is alleging that he’s the latest victim of internet hacking.
The G-Unit founder claimed that his social media account was accessed without his knowledge recently, alleging that hackers made off with $3 million from a cryptocurrency scam they executed using his name.

Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson addressed the situation on his social media pages yesterday (Saturday, June 22nd), writing:
“My Twitter & Thisis 50.com was hacked I have no association with this Crypto.”

Alleging that the criminals walked away from the situation with a hefty sum, he added:
“Twitter worked quickly to lock my account back down. Who ever did this made $3,000,000 in 30 minutes.”

At this time, not many details have been shared about the incident. 50 Cent did, however, repost a few X (formerly Twitter) users who caught the alleged hackers in the act. Investor Mario Nawfal, who boasts over 1 million followers on the platform, first reacted to the situation unfolding on Friday (June 21st), accurately surmising that the musician had been hacked. He wrote:
“BREAKING: @50cent is posting about his alleged new memecoin $GUNIT, and attacking Tate and his token. The memecoin is currently under $1m market cap, which indicates this is likely a hack. We are not able to verify if 50 cent was hacked, but my guess is yes.”

Mario Nawfal later confirmed that all of the original tweets promoting the fake cryptocurrency had been wiped from 50‘s account. No other details have been shared about the matter at this time.
