Rick Ross Breaks Silence On Fight w/ Drake Fans, Says He Was Never Punched In The Face

Update#3 (July 5, 2024): Rick Ross is sharing his side of what went down when he was spotted getting into a melee with Drake fans.

In a candid Instagram video, Rick Ross explained,

“When the first dude stepped up to Rozay, the little short fat one that looked like Bam Bam Bigelow from wrestling, when he stepped up and then I squad down to his eyes and told him what I said, basically. ‘Boy if I hit you I’m a see everything you ate for the last two days.’ His balls dropped out of his ass. He never said another word. He never did nothing, he was a straight busta.”

He added that the person behind the “little short fat” man then started yelling,

“I know MMA!”

Rick Ross said he was hit with a drink and is convinced he wasn’t punched in the face.

Update #2 (July 3, 2024): More details are emerging about what led up to Rick Ross’ fight with Drake fans following his performance at the Ignite Music Festival in Vancouver, Canada, over the weekend.

Sources told TMZ that a group of Drake fans confronted Rick Ross for trolling Drake and slamming him online over the past few weeks amid their feud. Rick Ross ending his set by playing Kendrick Lamar’s ultimate Drake diss song “Not Like Us” certainly didn’t help.

One fan went as far as punching Rick Ross in the face before the brawl broke out.

Insiders told the outlet that the “Champagne Moments” rapper and his entourage, including DJ Sam Sneak, his manager, two bodyguards, and friends, were walking off the stage when one of Rick Ross’ security members were beat up and shoved to the ground during the fight.

Rick Ross fled the scene and jumped in a car.

Meanwhile, Rick Ross said he enjoyed his time in Vancouver and plans to go back.

Update #1 (July 2, 2024): Drake and Tia Kemp are having fun with Rick Ross’ latest misfortune. After Rick Ross was seen in a physical altercation with Drake fans after a concert on Canada, Tia Kemp and Drake appear to have become an unlikely duo.

It started when Tia Kemp commented on Drake’s Instagram celebration of Canada Day on Monday, July 1.

She wrote,

“Drakeeeeee ?”

To which Drake responded,

“?? my goat ?”

Tia Kemp also flaunted the fact that Drake started following her on Instagram.

Rick Ross caught wind of the interaction and commented in a since-deleted tweet,

“Pedo vs granny”
