Amid speculation about the future of TLC’s Doubling Down with the Derricos following their shocking divorce announcement, Deon Derrico has confirmed that filming for Season 6 is underway.

Deon Derrico recently announced that despite their divorce, the cameras are rolling, promising viewers an inside look into “everything that’s been going on.”

In a social media post, he stated,

“We are currently filming everything that’s been going on, so you guys don’t have to keep asking.”

He continued,

“You guys will be able to follow and find out exactly what happened. We’ve been through a lot, as you guys could imagine, but we’re making it. We’re doing good.”

Deon went on to emphasize that his and his now ex-wife Karen Derrico’s primary goal is to ensure the happiness of their 14 children, stating,

“Our primary goal is to make sure that our children are happy, feeling heard, and loved.”

Speculation about whether their reality TV show would continue began after the shocking news of Deon and Karen Derrico’s divorce. Their divorce was finalized on June 5th, just two days after filing.

The couple, known for raising their 14 children in North Las Vegas, now share equal legal and physical custody of their 13 minor children. Deon will reportedly pay $1,166 per month in child support, while Karen will cover the children’s medical insurance costs.
