Jagged Edge’s Brandon Casey Spends Days In ICU Following Severe Car Accident, Reveals He Suffered Broken Neck, 5 Broken Ribs, & Skull Fracture

The 48-year-old Jagged Edge member revealed to his nearly 70k Instagram followers on Tuesday (July 16) that he almost lost his life in a car wreck. Brandon Casey shared a picture of his patient information board, seemingly taken from his hospital room, and captioned the post,

“have to send a big Thanku to @grady.hospital after bein in iCU for five days I kno the legendary Grady Trauma Center is everything it’s said to Be the Best in the country yall saved my life and I’m forever grateful.”

After praising the medical staff assigned to his care, the “I Gotta Be” artist elaborated on the injuries caused by the crash.

“I kno people wanna kno so here it is Broken neck 5 broke ribs skull fracture scalp lacerations and a bunch of pain all over my body but ima be good I promise yall God got me… all praises to the most high most awesome most wonderful God Thanku lord!!!!”

In a subsequent post, Brandon Casey shared an image of his severely crushed car, writing,

“I never post these type pictures upon delivering the news that I been hurt cuz the people who really love me don’t play about me and I don’t wanna add to they fright of how I may be doin but ima jus post this jus so u kno neither wreck was a fender Bender I could be probably should be dead — oh except the Big fact that God does protect his Flock”

In September 2023, Casey was involved in another car accident, which totaled his vehicle. However, he seems to have walked away from that particular accident with injuries not as severe as his most recent incident.
