Taylor Swift Seemingly Responds To Being Name-Dropped Alongside Her Boyfriend, NFLer Travis Kelce, On Kanye’s New Album

Taylor Swift fans believe she subtly responded to being name-dropped on Kanye “Ye” West’s new album.

In Ye’s Vultures 2, Lil Wayne’s verse on the song “Lifestyle (Demo)” includes the line,

“I twist my Taylor spliffs tight at the end like Travis Kelce.”

This lyric appears to reference Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, both 34.

This mention follows a similar reference in Ye’s previous album, Vultures 1. On the song “Carnival,” Ye raps about Taylor Swift,

“I made six Taylor Swift.”

While Taylor Swift hasn’t addressed the track directly, her fans believe her recent fashion choice hints at a response. At a recent Eras Tour stop in Warsaw, Poland, Swift wore a T-shirt emblazoned with the phrase “I Bet You Think About Me,” a nod to her 2021 song from “Red (Taylor’s Version)”.

Although she has worn the T-shirt on tour before, fans quickly linked her recent appearance in it to Ye and Lil Wayne’s latest mention, with some taking to social media to discuss the potential significance.

One fan tweeted,

“She’s so funny for wearing the ‘I Bet You Think About Me’ shirt after Kanye name-dropped her and Travis in his song—an actual comedian.”

Another user, however, disagreed, suggesting that the name drop was made by Lil Wayne without any ill intent, as he is reportedly friends with Travis Kelce:

“The highlighted portion is by Lil Wayne and is not shade towards Taylor or Travis. He is friends with Kelce and just performed at Kelce Jam.”
