Cardi B Slams ‘Dumb’ Internet Troll For Claiming She’s Bleaching Her Skin Amid Pregnancy

Another celeb is fighting back against skin-bleaching allegations.

Yesterday (Aug. 20), Cardi B shared a picture online of her good friend Star Brim touching her growing baby bump. The heartfelt moment was, unfortunately, met with a few negative comments from naysayers. One internet troll even reposted the picture and asked if Cardi B had bleached her skin.

Earlier today (Aug. 21) Cardi B took a moment to address the allegation. Writing back to the X user, she said,

“Bleaching while pregnant? Why must yall be so dumb ? Actually NO ! I’m pregnant I’m slightly anemic ,this baby suckin all the energy off my body to the point I’m pale,eyes sunken ,veins green ASF,can’t tan under the sun cause I get hot super fast and dizzy ….PLEAE STOP THINKIN WITH YOUR *SSHOLE!”

Cardi B’s pregnancy will mark her third baby with her estranged husband, fellow rapper Offset. As previously reported, on Aug. 1 — the same day she filed for divorce — Cardi confirmed she was pregnant. In an IG post about the exciting news, she wrote,

“With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion!”

The post continued,

“I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”
