‘Love & Hip Hop’ Star Sierra Thomas Says ‘Paperwork Shouldn’t Be Involved’ While Discussing If She’ll Sign A Prenup w/ New Husband Xzavia Thomas

Sierra Thomas shares her stance on prenups, making it clear she’s not a fan.

The 35-year-old Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star, formerly known as Sierra Gates, recently discussed her thoughts on prenups during an appearance on Keyshia Ka’oir’s podcast, All Things Keyshia Ka’oir.

In a teaser for the interview dropping later today, September 5, Sierra Thomas — who was still engaged to Xzavia Thomas at the time of the recording — shared her perspective on prenups, stating:

“In a marriage, I feel like, when it’s God-sent and heaven-sent, and you know that’s the person truly meant for you, then there shouldn’t be any type of paperwork involved, even though I feel like marriage is like a business.”

Throughout Sierra Thomas’ comments, Keyshia Ka’oir was seen shaking her head in disagreement.

In the comments under the podcast teaser, Sierra clarified:

“My husband suggested it [a prenup], I wasn’t even thinking of one.”

While the full podcast episode promises to offer more insights into Sierra’s views, it’s important to note that Sierra and her now-husband, Xzavia Thomas, recently celebrated their wedding. They announced it on Instagram with joyful posts from their celebration in Atlanta.

The announcement came on September 3, following their engagement in May. She also mentioned that she would now use her maiden name, Thomas, after her previous marriage to Shooter Gates.
