Basketball Wives Star Jennifer Williams’ Fiancé Sentenced To Jail 1 Week Before Wedding
Basketball Wives star Jennifer Williams’ fiancé Christian Gold has been sentenced to jail for a probation violation one week before their wedding, according to multiple reports.
Christian Gold was taken into custody Friday morning (Sept. 6) at Georgia’s DeKalb County courthouse.
The judge sentenced Christian Gold to 15 days behind bars.
The judge will allow Christian to serve two days in jail before temporarily releasing him so he can walk down the aisle. His and Jennifer Williams’ wedding is set for Sept. 14 in Paris.
The judge is allowing Christian to travel overseas for their nuptials, but afterward, there won’t be any honeymoon as he must return to DeKalb County to serve 13 more days behind bars.
Christian was on probation for a false imprisonment charge, for which he served 30 months, and was released in early 2018. Still, a couple of months ago, authorities say he traveled out of the U.S. without permission from his probation officer.
Jennifer Williams has yet to respond to the news publicly.
