Ari Lennox Reveals Why She Won’t Expose The Robbers Who Broke Into Her Home: ‘I Don’t Know What Else They Would Do’
Ari Lennox is choosing to protect herself despite being a victim of a home burglary.
On September 9, the 33-year-old singer took to Instagram Live to share her thoughts on why she hasn’t exposed those responsible for robbing her Los Angeles home:
“The only reason I don’t post the f****** video and expose those weird people that did that to me is because I genuinely still be around LA and I don’t wanna be f****** looking over my shoulder. I genuinely don’t. I’ve never had beef that serious before. If people could come into my house and do that to me, I don’t know what else they would do.”

The incident, which occurred earlier this year, had a deep impact on Lennox.

Back in March, she revealed her home was burglarized while she was renting a place in Los Angeles. The intruders pepper-sprayed her dogs, leaving her shaken:
“I was renting a home in LA, n***** burglarized my home. Pepper sprayed my dogs and I wrote a song about it.”
While Ari Lennox was not at home during the break-in, she was left questioning how the burglars had known so much about her and her pets:
“It happened at a time where it’s like, ‘How the f*** did they know I had dogs? How the f*** did they know I wouldn’t be home? It was weird as f***.’”
Ari’s decision not to release the security footage out of safety concerns is understandable, especially with the rise in celebrity-targeted robberies in the LA area. Just a few months ago, theJasmineBRAND reported a break-in at comedian Marlon Wayans’ home while his brother, Keenan Ivory Wayans, was present.

In a separate incident, Jada Pinkett Smith had a frightening experience in January when two men climbed onto her balcony and attempted to break into her Los Angeles home.
