YFN Lucci’s Lawyer Says Rapper Is Alive & Well Amid Rumors He Passed Away While Behind Bars
Rapper YFN Lucci is the latest celeb who had to shut down death rumors.
Today (Sept. 18) the internet streets were buzzing with claims that YFN Lucci, real name Rayshawn Bennett, had been killed while serving time in prison. One person on X wrote,
“Why ppl saying YFN Lucci passed away????? Like pls don’t piss me off!”

Another confused fan added,
“Need somebody to clear up this YFN lucci rumor”

YFN Lucci’s attorney spoke with TMZ and shared that the “Date Night” rapper is alive and well. It seems that the sad rumor was started by a blog trying to get engagement and play with people’s emotions following the recent untimely death of Lucci’s former labelmate, Rich Homie Quan.

Lucci is serving a 10-year sentence after pleading guilty to a charge under the Street Gang and Terrorism Prevention Act. However, it’s believed he’ll be released sometime next year.
