Drake Unfollows Longtime Friend LeBron James On Instagram
It’s seemingly the end of the road for one Hollywood duo.
Drake decided to clean house on his Instagram account to kick off the new month of October. Internet detectives noticed that late last night (Oct. 1) the Canadian rapper unfollowed several people on IG. The list of those seemingly cut off by Drake includes some you may not be surprised by, such as Kendrick Lamar. Unless you spent your summer under a rock, you’re aware of the rap beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar that recently took place.

In addition to his arch nemesis, Drake hit the unfollow button on Lakers superstar LeBron James, who he has been friends with for years. Drake even sat for a candid interview with LeBron and Maverick Carter for their talk series The Shop in 2019.
However, there have been whispers that their friendship strained after LeBron James and his wife appeared at the Kendrick Lamar “Pop Out” show on Juneteenth. LeBron also said in an interview that he liked K-Dot’s diss record “Not Like Us” (aimed at his pal Drake), which may have played a part in the unfollow debacle.
At the time of this report, LeBron still follows Drake. The “Teenage Fever” artist also unfollowed producer Metro Boomin, podcaster Joe Budden, NBA star DeMar DeRozan and rapper Playboi Carti.
