Anderson Cooper is trending after a viral moment during his live coverage of Hurricane Milton left viewers stunned.
While reporting from Florida on Wednesday, October 9, the 57-year-old CNN anchor was struck by flying debris on air.
Just moments before the shocking moment, Anderson Cooper said, “The water now is really starting to pour over.” Reacting to being hit, he added, “Okay, that wasn’t good.”
He later stated, “We’ll probably go inside shortly, but you can see the amount of water here on the ground. This is water from the Manatee River.”
Fellow CNN anchor Kaitlin Collins quickly reassured viewers about his safety, saying, “I do want to note for everyone watching who is very concerned obviously about all of our correspondents and anchors on the ground, Anderson is okay.”
