Chris Brown Alleged Victim Speaks Out Ahead Of Documentary: ‘If Someone Is Lying About You, Would You Pay To Silence That Person?’
Liziane Gutierrez is breaking her silence as she prepares for the upcoming documentary “Chris Brown: A History of Violence,” which will explore the allegations against the singer.
Reposting the documentary trailer on Instagram, Liziane wrote,
“Liar, fame-seeker, ridiculous… I’ve heard that for years since I decided to expose what happened to me in 2016.”
She continued,
“I don’t know if I’m psychologically prepared for everything that might come from my participation in this documentary, but I had no choice but to accept and stay silent. We are several women—do you really think we’re all liars? If someone is lying about you, would you pay to silence that person?”
Liziane went on to describe the upcoming documentary as investigative in nature, sharing that it includes new documents and videos from her time with Brown and her legal battle that have not been made public until now.
In her 2017 legal battle with Chris Brown, Liziane alleged that he punched her in the eye and took her phone after she tried to take his picture during a private party in his Las Vegas hotel room. Although the police never charged Brown, and he denied any wrongdoing, the two ultimately settled the lawsuit for an amount reportedly less than the initially discussed $70,000.
