Kandi Burruss On Leaving ‘RHOA’: ‘I Couldn’t Be Happier’
Kandi Burruss is thriving after her exit from Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Reflecting on her journey in an interview with People Magazine, Kandi Burruss shared,
“I had done 14 seasons straight. No other Housewife had done that.”
She continued, “
I couldn’t be happier with the way things have been going since I left the show.”
Since announcing her departure earlier this year, the 48-year-old reality star has landed a guest appearance on Hulu’s Reasonable Doubt.
In her portrayal of Eboni Phillips, a recovering addict, Kandi Burruss feels she can showcase her acting skills in a way that reality TV didn’t allow. She explained,
“Being on a scripted show… when the scene is done, nobody has hard feelings … It’s totally different from reality, where everybody cannot wait to go in on each other.”
Catch Kandi Burruss in Reasonable Doubt, with new episodes premiering on Thursdays on Hulu.
