‘Blade’ Removed From Disney Release Slate, Replaced w/ ‘Predator: Badlands’ In 2025
Looks like the highly anticipated “Blade” film starring Mahershala Ali won’t be seeing the light of day anytime soon.
As reported, Disney first announced the project five years ago, and since then, not much has followed. The movie has unfortunately faced several setbacks, including issues securing a director and pushing through the 2023 Writers Guild of America strike. Now, it seems that Blade has indefinitely been laid to rest.
According to new reports, Disney has removed the film from its release slate. Instead, the media giant will release a new “Predator” film titled “Predator: Badlands” in theaters on November 7, 2025.

Are you shocked that Disney has seemingly decided to shelve “Blade”?
