Tory Lanez Files Another Appeal In Megan Thee Stallion Shooting Case Amid 10-Year Sentence
Tory Lanez isn’t giving up on his fight for freedom.
The rapper has filed another appeal in hopes of overturning his 10-year sentence, with legal documents now posted on the IG account of non-profit legal team #UniteThePeople.
The documents outline a series of alleged legal errors made during his trial, including claims that the court allowed testimony on Megan Thee Stallion’s emotions, admitted questionable evidence, and allowed what they argue was prosecutorial misconduct.
As of 2024, Tory Lanez is serving time at California Correctional Institution after being convicted on three felony charges: assault with a semi-automatic firearm, carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence in connection to the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.
