Coi Leray Calls Out 1801 Manager Billy J For Allegedly Trying To Ruin Her Career
Coi Leray is putting Billy J from 1801 Records on blast, accusing him of trying to control her life and ruin her career over the past five years.
In a recent viral post, she wrote,
“There’s nothing in this life I want more than this guy right here to leave me alone. He has done NOTHING for my career and has been trying to take from me for the past 5 years.”
Coi Leray went on to reveal that she signed a bad production deal with 1801 at 21, claiming they “finessed” her with their own lawyer who didn’t properly explain the terms. She admitted she’s “so depressed” and has no plans to release any more music until she breaks free from Billy J’s control:
“I will never drop another record in my life until I fight every bone in my body for this man right here to just leave me alone.”
Coi Leray also called out 1801’s lawyer, Matt Middletone, for continuing to support the label, while pointing out that business partner KMacklive is ready to part ways. However, Billy J is allegedly refusing to step aside:
“The only person making this s*** hard is Billy J. It’s crazy how sick people can be.”
