Diddy’s Gag Order Request Rejected By A Judge Amid Ongoing Sex Trafficking Case
Sean Diddy Combs’ effort to block government leaks about his legal troubles has been denied.
A New York judge recently rejected Diddy’s request for a gag order designed to prevent officials from sharing details about his sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
On Friday, October 25, Judge Arun Subramanian ruled against Diddy’s proposal but implemented a similar order requiring federal agents and investigators to follow laws prohibiting the leaking of grand jury proceedings:
“This order isn’t based on a finding that there has been any wrongdoing thus far.”
The concern may stem from Diddy’s legal team accusing federal agents of leaking security footage earlier this year that showed him abusing ex-girlfriend #CasandraVentura, claiming it was done to damage his reputation; however, federal authorities denied the allegations.
As he awaits trial, Diddy remains in custody at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention.
