Eddie Murphy Will Produce & Star In George Clinton Biopic
Eddie Murphy is set to star as Parliament-Funkadelic leader George Clinton in an untitled biopic directed by Bill Condon for Amazon MGM Studios.
The script is being written by Virgil Williams, based on an original draft by Max Werner. The project was brought to Murphy by lifelong fan Catherine Davis. Condon previously directed Murphy in “Dreamgirls,” which earned him an Oscar nomination.

The film will be produced by Murphy via Eddie Murphy Productions, alongside John Davis and others, with Clinton also serving as an executive producer.
We don’t have a release date yet, but the project was first announced back in 2022. Would y’all go see this one?
