Liam Payne’s Body Flown Back To UK Ahead Of Funeral, Two People Detained In Connection To Singer’s Death
The body of One Direction’s Liam Payne has made its way back to the UK.
Reports state that the late singer’s father Geoff Payne collected his remains from Argentina on November 6th, in preparation for his son’s coming funeral service in their hometown.
Liam Payne died instantly of massive internal and external injuries on October 16th while staying at a hotel in Buenos Aires after jumping from his third-floor hotel room, according to local police.
ABC later reported that the musician’s toxicology records revealed he consumed a lethal combination of drugs prior to the incident, including pink cocaine, also called Tusi (a mix of methamphetamine, ketamine and ecstasy), benzodiazepine, crack, and cocaine.

Buenos Aires police have reportedly detained two individuals accused of supplying Liam with the narcotics, including a hotel worker and an alleged drug dealer.
A businessman man who reportedly worked closely with Liam in the country is also being investigated in connection to his death, according to a report from Rolling Stone.
At this time, details of Liam’s England service have not been revealed publicly. Several reports note, however, that his former bandmates Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Harry Styles and Zayn Malik are expected to be in attendance.
